From the edges of my mind presents a place I’ve been before. Lit by the possibility of an open road.
A style is evolving. After a light varnish on this piece, nothing else is needed. I’m enjoying the feel for big skies and an open mind. My latest series celebrates a simple landscape built up by texture and its layers.
I use a variation of molding paste and heavy gel mediums that accent depth and a sense of “stilled movement” within each landscape. Sculpting these works with levellers and brushes, my curiosity and whimsy lies in the spaces between our destinations..

Artwork is ready to hang. The surface of the art is textured and layered with acrylics, gel mediums and molding paste. Handle with care.

CARE TIP: Never place artwork in direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight may cause damage to drawings/paintings due to ultraviolet rays that are harmful to many materials, including paint pigments and canvas. Even when placed behind glass or in an art storage unit, it is best not to store artwork directly under strong light.
