A friend gave me this paper during a visit in Miami. Cutting it with the edge of a pocket knife and handing it over, I took it eagerly as I promised to keep its origin apart of the story. Not thinking too much about what I was creating the piece meandered and swelled.
A couple years later a head on its shoulders emerged. Mirroring a mindful approach to how I created - careful not rip the paper with quick ink strokes.
Holding the paper up revealed tiny holes. Mindful of every ink dot as the paper is so thin, I realize the brain tree was mirroring my own introspection..

Artwork is ready to hang. Frame details: Open grain, black wood frame. Artwork is float matted with Artglass (non-reflective, 70% UV protection).
All original art is signed, dated and stamped for authenticity.

Exposure to direct sunlight may cause damage to drawings/paintings due to ultraviolet rays that are harmful to many materials, including paint pigments and canvas. Even when placed behind glass or in an art storage unit, it is best not to store artwork directly under strong light.
